This particular Bishops Arms feels as though it isn't quite convinced that it's a hotel. There is no reception - one engages the attention of one of the staff in the bar. Once checked in however, the room is perfectly adequate, and, as it turned out, acceptably quiet, given that there is a pub downstairs and it was a weekend. Breakfast is fine (can't speak for the cooked food as we didn't sample it). There is carparking, but it isn't free.

The room was spacious! Our only complaint was that the room was very warm. We had also arranged for a breakfast on our day of departure to be available as we left at 630 am. The staff they would prepare something but there was not anything

Hotel itself is fine. However, let down by the 4 pm check in time which is not great. The doors are locked until 4 pm so if you arrive before this and it is raining you get wet. There needs to be a way to check in before this, and be able to drop off your bags. It is more of pub than a hotel. The hotel has a life but it is very hit and miss to get it to start and sometimes it stops between floors. The room was fine just let down by check in at 4pm and no way of dropping off your luggage prior to this.

Stay somewhere else

The noice and the vibrations from the night club below the hotel kept me awake until 2AM. The staff at the night club help out with checking in but take no responsibility towards the hotel guests

Varken i vasken eller duschen fungerade avloppet. Hissen stannade flera gånger mellan våningarna. Frukosten var spatansk. I jämförelse med andra Bischop Arms Hotell är Strängnäs slitet, smutsigt och dyrt. Men så blir det lätt på en ort utan större konkurrens.
