“We stayed two nights, in the cottage at the side of the inn. 2 rooms, one a twin for 2 teenagers. The rooms were a great size. Clean, comfortable beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities. We had breakfast both mornings and the staff were warm, friendly attentive and very welcoming. The breakfasts were great. We asked advice around public transport into Glastonbury and the staff were very helpful. We ate one evening meal that was good value too, with a varied menu. Would highly……

“Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon”

“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

“Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.”

“I, along with my husband, had a wonderful stay at the Temple Inn near Bath last night. We stayed overnight in one of their rooms, which was comfortable and inviting. “very close to the Bristol airport, very convenient if you arrive late night no reception or staff there to server (but it is very OK, so price is cheaper than others), just arrive and you can get into your room, nice decor new room, suggest to install a shower curtain because the water makes the toilet all wet (beware of the goat, haha)”
