"Loved it, it is a proper calming little oasis amongst the hustle and bustle. The team working there all really seem to enjoy their work, it’s super relaxed but very attentive. The food is great and the on site spa was excellent too. We only booked 2 nights originally but changed our plans to stay longer and relax"

"There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city. "
