“Great property and staff, dining on site was great, the wharf at the sister property wasn’t very good”

“This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury……

“Cool historic place but for the price would’ve rather just visited. Super small rooms, one bar with five seats, no real on site dining for dinner, and man they better fix that water pressure as you’ll get more wet sweating than standing under that. Prob my last time visiting but cool place”

“The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. ”

“We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn St. Simons Island! The hotel was super clean, quiet, and very family friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and looked forward to breakfast every morning, which honestly made the trip even easier for us. The location was PERFECT. It felt tucked away and peaceful surrounded by all the beautiful old trees, so it had that relaxing secluded feel, but you were still right in the middle of everything. CVS was right beside the hotel so we walked over to……
