"Cabin in the woods....what more could you ask. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Food in the restaurant was standard bar food but it was hot and tasty. Bar staff was courteous and efficient, even when tasked with a rowdy party of about 20 people. They were loud but respectful and the staff took it in stride. Only spent one night in our travels through the area but would stay again."

"Property was very nice. Very close to the new river gorge bridge & lots of great hiking trails. Breakfast was very nice and we ate dinner one night at the restaurant there and it was good. Lots of locals there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff were great to talk with about the area. We would stay there again"

"This cabin was magical! Sitting on top of its own little spot with spectacular views! The road to it was beautiful especially since we came in fall and the leaves were all in their vivid colors. The hot tub was perfect after sitting around the fire pit and a great way to end the day. We had all we needed and more available in the cabin and the host even reached out to see if we needed anything else! Highly recommended and hope to be back here in the spring!"

"This was the second Hampton Inn I stayed in during my recent trip. Both places, including this one and the one in Hendersonville NC had dogs that were barking near my room. For this hotel I told the staff and they paid a visit or called since the barking stopped. I don't agree with the pet friendly policy, I'm allergic to dogs and cats and the last thing I want to hear is barking while on vacation. Otherwise it was a very nice stay but not sure I will stay at any more Hamptons."

"The property was clean, well maintained and perfect for my family to get away and enjoy WV. It was close to hiking, the lake and restaurants but tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Pluses were the game room, hot tub and fenced in back yard for the pups. Highly recommend!!"
