"The property is beautiful and the room was stunning and well kept. They had a good continental breakfast that had breads and pastries and some cold cuts and vegetables. Our favorite part was the jacuzzi on the terrace, I didn't think it was worth $35 a person to use it but it was good after a long day. The only other thing that I would suggest to the hotel is to get a lock box outside the facility to allow for late check ins. We traveled an entire day trying to get to Pompeii and didn't arrive until 2am. We had kept in contact with them and told them what our gps said and they said no one was available to let us in after midnight. So we wound up paying for a night that we didn't stay, and thankfully found another place literally a few doors down that was super accommodating and left us a key in a lock box and we were able to sleep there."

"First impressions weren’t great, on arrival receptionist just said ‘Passports’ - no hello or welcome. Other staff friendly and quite helpful. Hotel is nice, but not a great location if you don’t have a car and have to rely on public transport/taxis. The hotel said they offered transfer from train station, but this was not the case. We had to get a local taxi which cost €20 each time for a journey of less than 2 miles, but we had no other option. The other annoying thing is that you have to pay extra for sun loungers/pool. Amenities and other restaurants in the locality also very limited. Overall, good, but there were some negatives."

"The location was excellent for us as we were so close to the ferrys and the location is in the middle of train station, old town, waterfront. The staff was also very helpful with all of our questions."

"Nous sommes restés trois nuits à l’hôtel plaza de Salerne. Le personnel était très accueillant et sympathique. Ils répondaient à nos questions et étaient très heureux de pouvoir nous aider. L’emplacement est de loin un élément clé. À pieds, il est à 1 min de la gare et à 5-6 minutes de la Piazza concordia où vous trouverez les traversiers pour les différentes villes de la côte. C’était vraiment apprécié!"

"We stayed here as a family of 4. Family room was big enough for us however the property advertising a recent renovation the bathroom especially was a bit tired and needed updating but everything worked as it should. It must be said, if you don't have a car then staying here might be a bit tricky. We hired a car (We went further South) and deliberately stayed out of Naples to visit some of the surrounding sights. Underground Parking is 10€ a night or free at the front or across the road in Wurth car park. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you don't want to pay the extra, as there is a restaurant next door that was busy two of the nights we got back a bit later and parking was a little restricted. Breakfast was a good selection but was the same all three mornings we were there so not much in the way of variety. There is a Swimming pool but we didn't use it. Overall a good stay but you will need a car to make the most of it."

"This is a wonderful hotel and its staff, particularly David and Aldo were excellent. Great amenities included the Spa and The Rooftop Bar and my room was large and luxurious. I had a delicious steak at the Rooftop Bar and the manager there was also a fantastic member of the hotel staff."
