「Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. 」

「Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.」

Twin room very clean but 1 bed not so good, the other one was great

「Nice hotel with friendly staff
Busy pub & restaurant- great breakfast included in the cost of the stay
Beautiful village with lots of history
Lots of dogs staying & visiting with diners
No lift (elevator) but they carried my bags up the stairs for me so that wasn't an issue
They give you a key to the outer door so if you're out late (like I was for a wedding in a nearby location), you just hold a key fob to the door & you have 24 hour access
They kept my bags free of charge so I could stroll...
