“Location is unbeatable however the property is really showing its age. Stayed here a few times over the last 20 years, the main lodge and amenities need some major tlc or overhaul. Staff were nice but didn’t match the nightly room price point. For $500 plus a night I’d expect a lot more, seemed aloof generally. Room in the main lodge was renovated and clean, nice big mini fridge/freezer. Unfortunately when we were leaving we noticed a massive brown stain on the bed sheet, so gross but was at……

“Excellent place to stay at. We had our suite just in front of the outdoor pool and shared BBQ station with some nice patio tables. The place was modernly renovated and well kept clean . AC and shower worked perfectly. The staff was friend’y and helpful.We definitely will stay here again !”

“The property is in an excellent location, 100% love the location. Parking was free and included, so that was also very good. The room and bathroom was upgraded to today's standards so that was also 100% good. However, the property is pretty bare bones, no amenities, no frills, almost no art on walls in the room, no special touches, no bottled water, no hand lotion for dry hands, Very bare bones for a $300+ room. No views, no water views, no amenities, but excellent location and good parking.……

“This hotel was cheap, sometimes comfortable and convenient. It looks normal, and it is normal. There are many stores nearby, and the buildings are good to see.”

“Location was excellent and villa was spacious”

“We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are……

“The property is in a good location and although we didn’t use it, the pool area was nice. We booked a two bedroom villa and we were apparently upgraded to a two bedroom loft. It did not feel like an upgrade. We didn’t use the extra space at all as there were only four of us. Our villa was an end unit, which might have been good noise-wise, but didn’t have much of a view at all. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the villa as we were out exploring but we might have if we had a nicer outdoor space.……

“We spent three nights at the Tuwanek in late July for my partner’s birthday, and it was exactly the kind of quiet, scenic retreat we were hoping for. The setting right on the inlet is the real draw — waking up to that view every morning made it hard to leave the room. Rooms were beautifully appointed and spotless, and the little touches (spa services, quality products) made it feel like a proper occasion rather than just a place to sleep. It’s remote enough that you’ll want a car for dinner —……
