“When we arrived, we were given a studio room instead of the one-bedroom apartment I had booked. The receptionist told us to contact the booking platform. I reached out to the online customer service, and Mary Ann M. was assigned to assist me. However, she couldn’t reach the local property. It took forever to sort out the problem. I asked for a phone number to call because the online chat was too inefficient. She gave me a U.S. number, so I made an international call — but it turned out to be……

“Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they allowed us to place our baggage into a locked storage area before check-in time. Help available at the front desk from 8am to 8pm only, other just a security guard present at other times. The room was tidy and clean, yet remained extremely hot due to the lack of air-conditioning in the heatwave. The window only opened down by about an inch and there was barely any circulation despite the fan on maximum. The included fridge was a lifesaver. No bin……

“The location is excellent. The host was extremely responsive. We got a unit next to the front door of the building. There were occasional front door slamming sounds but bearable. That was the only minor point.”

“Our plane was cancelled and we informed Expedia that we would arrive one day later. Eventually we got refund of one night, and early check-in for free, which is very good. The apartment is clean and spacious, and there are sufficient washing tablets provided for washing machine and dish washer. There are also sufficient utensils for cooking. The location is good as it is only a few minute walk to the shopping mall. I hope that the window blinds can be changed to keep the bedrooms dark during……
