“We had to cancel the remainder of our stay, which host has refused to refund by the way, because of extreme jet aircraft noise. This property is on final approach to London Gatwick, which means low flying jet airliners every approx 5 minutes from around 6am to around midnight. The barn is very neat and clean, though it has few power outlets and only a college dorm size refrigerator. Two of us took showers, one was longer and ran out of water completely after a med-long shower. The other of……

“It was an amazing stay. Really enjoyed staying at Matties Loft. Accommodation included all the facilities you would standardly require and more on a trip and was super clean. Host was really great and friendly, we felt welcomed. Should mention that our dog also really enjoyed the trip also as we took advantage of the lovely countryside walks and beautiful scenery. “The Manor House is old and lovely but for winter months is it very cold and very damp fromWindows we was freezing The kitchen and dining area described as outside dining is freezing The bathrooms and toilet system over flowed and leaked response from host lots of toilet paper we booked this size house as 12 people accommodate I don’t feel it was excessive use and people should be able to use the toilet and wipe Leaks upstairs sink soaking carpet we had to put towels down Constant dripping from……

“A gorgeous ancient (C16th?) house in a peaceful hamlet with lovely new floors/bathrooms etc. The weather was hot so our favourite thing was the big wooden table and comfortable chairs outside under a beautiful grapevine, felt like being in the South of France!”
