VIR Weekend
Once again we enjoyed our stay during the annual VIR Speed Tour weekend. Good to connect with family and friends who enjoy time at VIR while also spending time with so many amenities and a genuinely comfortable place to stay.

Great stay at a great property with fantastic hosts! Mark and Rona are ultra responsive and accommodating and the home is very nice. Enjoyed the pool to cool off after a day at the races. Will stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the outside area. The pictures did not do this justice. The pool was perfect and the hosts were amazing. Think this might be a new summer tradition.

Celebrating my son's 35th birthday at VIR for the SVRA annual classics. Home was perfect for our group of friends and family. Easy ride to the racetrack and comfortable accommodations. Property managers are a wonderful couple.

Big space!
Great place to stay, comfortable, plenty of room. A bit far from VIR but most places are. Clean, though there were some fruit flies that were annoying.

Off the path getaway
Stayed for an extended weekend to attend a race at VIR - about 30 minutes away. We were two couples in our 60's and enjoyed having space to move around. The pool was warm and lots of outdoor space available. Appliances seemed newer and worked well. The entire property could use some TLC and updating.

Great visit again!!
This is our 3rd year staying at this house and we had a great time once again. Ronda and Mark are great hosts and once again did not disappoint. Our goal each year is to relax to the fullest and we are able to do that here and enjoy the pool! Thanks again for a great visit and we will see you next year!

Comfortable, quiet and relaxing home
The home had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood with everything within 15 miles from us. The owners are the best. They are so helpful with whatever you need and I felt like we made a couple of new friends.

Great times!
This year there was a glitch the the pool. Working in vacation rentals for 20 years, I did not fret as it was something totally out of control of the owner. We had use two inflatable pools that still keep us cooled off and being with friends was the best part of all. So if you are fortunate to still have many friends and family, never let material things ruin spending time together. Materialistic things can be fixed or replaced. Friends and family cannot.

Peaceful & Relaxing
Rhonda & Mark Excellent location for rest and relaxation. If you wanted to shop, North Carolina was an hour away. If you wanted to explore some of Virginia’s battlefields and history not far either. Enjoyed local places for spa treatments as well. truly a wonderful vacation for all of us! Will be returning for sure!

Had a blast
Owners were very friendly, house had EVERYTHING we needed, bonus that the pool happened to be open, spent a great weekend on the deck and patio in and out of the pool and hot tub with all my girls (only complaint I can say we had was that the owners did show up a few times unannounced during our second day to do pool maintenance and that the house description did not mention that he works out of the garage and could be showing up) otherwise they were very friendly and informative and we had an amazing weekend

Sorry to have handled maintenance unannounced. We had the propane tanks refilled for your use and hooked them up. Pool was newly opened so we checked chemicals and cleaned deep end drain.

Great weekend
We had a great weekend at your house. Everything was so close. It was very peaceful. The view was amazing especially at night when I took some time just for myself in the jacuzzi. It was so relaxing just sitting there watching the stars. We were even great by Mark when we got there to show us around and make sure we had everything. We can't wait to come back and be able to use the beautiful pool. Thank you again for a great and fun relaxing weekend!!!

Very nice vacation spot to get away!
Outside amenities were awesome. Spent a ton of time in the pool, on the porch, patio and decks. Great time relaxing and hanging out. House was cozy and spacious.

2nd Year
This was our 2nd year renting this property and we enjoyed it as much as the 1st year. I cannot say enough about Ronda and Mark and the great hospitality that we receive from them. They are always so nice and accommodating. The house is perfect for our group and the pool is amazing!! They have done some upgrades to the property and it just adds to the already great ambiance. Great place, close to town
We were celebrating my mom's birthday and I knew I would need to find a place close to Danville to stay. I have a big family and we all could not stay in one house. First, I rented a room at the Marriott in Danville but then decided that if it was going to be 5 of us, maybe I should look into renting a house. So I started searching. This home came up in Sutherlin, just minutes from town and away from all the city traffic. The outdoor spaces were great! The beds were comfortable, the two living spaces were ideal if you do not desire to watch the same movies on TV. The kitchen was fully stocked as well as the bathrooms. A nice gas grill, fridge and bar by the pool. There is really very little you will need. The area is quiet. A large paved driveway with plenty of parking. The hosts, Rhonda and Mark came by as we were checking in and were close by if anything was needed. I wish I could have stayed longer but it's summertime and I had to go back to work and lots of traffic. I live in a beach resort area and this is the most relaxing getaway I have experienced since my all inclusive vacation in Jamaica in 2002. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

We LOVED our stay!!!!
I cannot say enough about how great Ronda and Mark are. We arrived on Sunday and Ronda came over to show us the property and how everything works. She was so kind and it was great to chat with her. She was always available through text if we had a question and Mark came by daily to check the pool and clean it. He was great to talk with and it was great to learn about the house and all of the work they have done and continue to do. The pool was great! There was no need for the pool heater, the sun did that daily! The water stayed between 84 to 86 everyday. The back porch off of the master is like an oasis all in itself. Its a wonderful place to sit morning, evening and night The house was just what we needed. We are a small group home for adults with disabilities and they loved it. The internet was great. I brought a Roku stick and we were able to constantly stream movies and use other devices. We loved it and will definitely be back next year if not before that!!

Amazing house. Wish we came here in the summer!
Ronda and Mark were great hosts, and were very attentive during our entire stay. Our group actually met with Mark when we checked in, and he showed us around the house to make sure we'd be able to accommodate ourselves with the various amenities in the house (i.e. the pool, hot tub, sauna, BBQ grill, and the entertainment systems). Because the Nor'easter passed through this region few days prior to our stay, it was quite chilly so we couldn't use the pool. The house was definitely a lot bigger than what the photos were portraying in this listing, and we were really surprised to see all the work Ronda and Mark had done to the house to make sure his guests were comfortable. The DirecTV had great reception with a ton of available channels (sports, movies, etc.), and the Wi-Fi was good enough to stream Netflix shows via the Smart TVs. The only thing that we had issues with was the water pressure of the showers. We would've preferred the pressure to be a bit stronger, but it wasn't too weak to a point where we couldn't take showers at all. Aside from the pool, hot tub, and sauna, the most memorable thing of our stay at Ronda and Mark's place was the driveway and its size. Our group had 3 race cars, 1 truck, and an open trailer, and all of the vehicles fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare. Mark even gave us permission to work on one of our cars on the driveway, and even lent us one of his floor jacks and jack stands. Overall, this house was simply awesome! We are definitely coming back to VIR when it gets warmer again, and will be looking forward to staying at Ronda and Mark's place and use the pool.

Everything we needed and then some!
Thanks Mark & Rhonda for the great weekend getaway for us and our family/friends. There was more than enough room in the home, the pool and hot tub were both relaxing, the porch and the pool deck provided us with plenty of seating space outside.
