“Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. “Well worth getting back to nature. A pleasant view as well. More home comforts than a shepherd would have had - certainly nice and cosy. The stove really puts out some heat. Give it a go, it’s a different accomodation!”

“Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. “We enjoyed our short break in excellent accommodation, which was perfect for our needs. Clearly a lot of thought had gone in to the accommodation and everything had been finished to a high standard. We would certainly stay there again if we are in the area and would recommend to anyone who is visiting East Sussex, an perfect base for many local National Trust places.”
