Beautiful location

The house was perfectly spacious and the outside area by the lake was amazing. Easy drive to the nearby small towns. Full of character and the house was well prepared.

Family trip

Spacious property with many indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. The kitchen was stocked with staples. Loved the large covered deck with plenty of seating. Also enjoyed using kayaks and playing games in the large, lakefront backyard. Beds were all fairly comfortable and AC units in all rooms. Host was very responsive to any inquiries.

Everything we needed....and more!

Perfect accommodations for a group trip. Never worried about space. And we were at the recommended max capacity. There was definitely still room for more. Everything worked as needed. Plenty of firewood. All boats in good working condition including the trolling motor, a little old and beat up but its a rental property and I would expect nothing less when you open your property to the world. We will definitely be back to this little gem tucked away on the lake.

Catskills Lake

Location was nice, right next to the lake. House was clean and comfortable, however the besement where there were 4 bedrooms was musty and smelled like moth balls. There was a great deck off of the kitchen but there was a pump station from the neighborhood. There was a smell of sewage which made sitting outside challenging, depending on the wind direction.There were constant flies out there also. We sent 3 text messages that went unanswered, including a text rfequesting instructions on closing up the house at our departure. We won't be booking this house again.

Family Fun

We stayed for a week with our four adult children, their spouses, and three grandchildren ages 1-4. There are bedrooms for 5 married couples and a few kids if you use some single beds together. A rare find. The bed in the master is super soft if you like that. The kitchen and dining tables together provided plenty of seating. We had fun with the pool table when it was rainy, but almost all of the sticks had broken tips. The dock area was terrific with picnic tables, fire pit, lounge chairs, volleyball and badminton, lots of kayaks, a canoe, and a couple boats on which a trolling motor can be used. The lake is very weedy, so a trolling motor is a challenge. We brought corn hole and enjoyed that down by the water too! Overall, this was another great family vacation!

Plenty of space, but lacking in upkeep resulting in unsafe lake access among other issues.

We had plenty of space both inside and on the back lawn for our family vacation (6 adults, 3 kids). We enjoyed the yard and the ability to play outdoor games on the lawn; however, the dock was unsafe and required repairs. There were plenty of kayaks, but unfortunately two of them were not in working order. As far as the lake itself, it was fine for kayaking or boating, but we were disappointed that we couldn’t swim at all. While the info sheet said it was safe to swim, the awful smell of the water in the morning and overall uncleanliness made it a definite no for us. In addition, when we arrived there was trash throughout the yard and especially down by the dock. The house itself was clean enough, but lacked upkeep. The screen door was repaired with duct tape, but was still ripped open and we constantly had a dozen flies in the kitchen if we didn’t keep the glass doors shut. The shower in the main bathroom’s drain was broken and we had to plunge it each time we showered so it would drain. The weight machine in the workout room was broken, and the foosball table in the listing was not on the property. The trash cans were all full when we arrived with no instructions regarding trash collection. This may explain the flies. And for what it’s worth, the beds were all very uncomfortable. Overall, we truly enjoyed the space to play games indoors and outdoors, but were disappointed in the lake water quality/cleanliness, the unsafe dock, and other repairs needed throughout.

Lovely property

Beautiful location/property. Very roomy/comfortable with many things to do. It was great having so many kayaks/canoe, etc. enough for many of us to kayak together! Definitely recommend!

Large house. Good for 3-4 families.

Enjoyed clean house with full kitchen. For outdoor activities had fun walking over frozen lake. Hope to visit again in Summer for water activities.

Great location with Excellent Amenities

First, the owner is very responsive, nice and caring. Second, the location is about two and half hours drive from NYC, which is not too far and close enough for weekend trips. It is next to a quiet, clean and beautiful lake. It has kayaks and canoes that you can use in the lake. Also, it is about 10-minute drive to ShopeRite which made it easy to shop and buy necessary stuff. Finally, we did enjoy our stay here and I would definitely recommend this place to others.
