“pillow and bedsheet are too soft. shower cannot used, can only use bathtub.”

“My first stay. Having moved house and travelled two hours, I was stressed and exhausted. Check in was a little slow but the apology was accepted. The room was a long walk from reception, I was pleasantly surprised with the layout. The bathroom was extremely small, I had a hot shower and got into nice white sheets. The TV was pixilated, very poor signal, the remote wouldnt work. I was too exhausted to bother with it, but tried again in the morning. The tv would not turn on. Further……

“Although a lovely hotel which I have used a few times in the past, and staff are helpful and friendly, the property and room interiors are in need of renovation. The window paint is flaking off, the curtain hooks coming off so that curtains hang irregularly and the carpets becoming threadbare. I think current owners are trying to sell so maybe that is why no attention is being given to these details right now.”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Most of the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine and staff good. Unfortunately restaurant closes a little early and they stop taking orders 15 mins prior. We arrived at the restaurant 25 mins prior to closing and was behind another guest. The manager told us to wait as he would be right back but only came back 10 mins later to tell us that we would need to go eat elsewhere as the restaurant was closing. Very unprofessional and comments were also made by other guests who……
