“The heater in the room had been making the weird sound nearly all night which disrupted my sleep. My other co-workers who stayed during the same period also had the same experience. “We love Shenandoah National Park and Big Meadows. We like the convenience of staying in the park. The lodge is very dog friendly which is nice since we travel with the dog. We have never visited this late in the season, so we didn’t hike. The visitor center was closed due to government shut down. I would classify the lodge as rustic. Room was comfortable.”

“I would definitely stay here again. We were here for a long weekend getaway visiting Shenandoah. Check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly. The room was tidy and clean and appeared to be remodeled.
