“We stayed at De Moksha to unwind before leaving Indonesia and were very glad we had booked this stay.
The room was beautiful, peaceful and very clean. The food from the restaurant is lovely. The staff are exceptional and helpful. The massage was exactly what we needed to relax.
The only advice I would offer is to bring mosquito repellent, don’t worry about the geckos, and leave a couple of hours to get to the airport. When booking, the site states the airport is 30 minutes away, however, with……

“A beautiful setting along the south western coast. Small roads lead through a few villages to an isolated setting along the ocean. Villas are sturdy, comfortable, spacious (probably a bit more than necessary) and well equipped. WIFI works but a tad slow. The grounds, pools and public pavilions along the waterfront are quite nice. Landscaping is high quality. The rstaurant (The Lily) is very good and has an excellent small bakery attached. Enjoyed our stay. Will return.”

“The staff was especially courteous when they learned I had visited the property before. They delivered a welcome fruit basket and handwritten note to my door, which was a very nice and personal touch. I also have to mention the complimentary breakfast on the day I checked out. There was a misunderstanding on the time breakfast ended, but when I arrived, the staff went above and beyond, not just to serve me a full breakfast, but also to serve the items I requested. “Super nice place. Very welcoming host and nice neighbourhood. The pool is nice for a dip on a hot day. The villas are so nice, airconed and comfortable, equipped with smart TV. We were in Villa 2, so a bit more privacy.
Highly recommended.
Loud neighbourhood dogs at night, but do not let that deter you from the place.”

“It feels more like a boutique hotel — just a swimming pool, no restaurant or café, but there’s a cozy community kitchen. I like the quiet atmosphere here in Kedungu. There’s no money exchange, convenience store, or supermarket nearby, but that adds to its charm. I enjoy the stillness and hip, minimalist vibe — simple, easy, and calm.”
