We recently stayed at Hard Rock Bali and unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The room was small, dark, and lacked fresh air – no balcony and the noisy AC fan didn’t help. Bed and mattress quality were just average, nothing close to what you’d expect for the price.
Amenities were more on par with a 3-star hotel. The breakfast experience was frustrating – overcrowded and chaotic with poor quality food, especially the pastries and hot items. It felt more like quantity over quality.
Room service was a joke. We asked for a simple bowl to feed our baby, and were told it would take 20 minutes – unacceptable and unhelpful.
The pool area looked promising at first, but almost all the poolside beds were marked as “reserved,” clearly prioritising guests who spent more on food and drinks. It didn’t feel guest-friendly at all.
