"Lovely place. But ceiling decor fell inches from our head, shattering not only plaster onto our bed but our nerves. Management apologized & cleaned up. But only at my insistence did they put in some more screws into the other remaining pieces (which was critical since another piece was already missing, meaning they knew previously of this problem/risk). And not a bit of compensation was offered. Only after my persistent all-day inquiry did we hear the next morning - after we'd already packed up...

"The staff was amazing but Casa Marroqui was terrible especially room #8. The balcony of room 8 opened on a view of huge trash bins, I was not able to open the balcony because flies come in and when the garbage truck came to collect trash, it idled very noisily for almost half an hour. I asked to be moved to a different room. They were responsive and moved me to hotel Maruchi. It was better but the room was very small with no balcony. I payed for a room with a balcony but at Maruchi, I didn't get...
