"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. "A lovely hotel in a perfect setting by the river. My only quibble is that one morning at breakfast two staff members had a disparaging conversation about a colleague within earshot of guests. Bar prices were a bit on the high side but other than that The Palace was terrific."
