"We can’t say enough about how amazing this house is. We could just sit on the lanai and sip coffee while watching whales and sea turtles in the ocean all day. The location was fantastic for exploring the island. A short drive almost anywhere you need to go. The house has tons of space for a large family and could probably fit two families comfortably. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves made for a perfect ending to every day. "

"Pictures on the Vrbo app do not do justice to how beautiful this house is! The house was super clean, lots of open space, the kitchen stocked full of utensils for cooking, and the air conditioning worked great. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms being separated in the house for extra privacy, a small but great feature when you have 2 couples and people waking and sleeping at separate times. Mattress was super comfortable. Showers had plenty of hot water. The lanai was pleasant early in the cooler mornings. We didn't use the hot tub, as we visited Salt Pond Beach most days. All in all, Liz and Chad were great hosts and the experience exceeded our expectations! We would definitely love to stay here again!"

"Clean, comfortable, no pests. Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy and rustic plantation cabins. The outside furniture was a bit worn and many cobwebs in the rear. We didn’t have enough wash cloths, hand towels or coffee. We called for a delivery but they never came. Second request in person and they were immediately delivered. Will return. "

"House was beautiful and property was beautiful as well. Views were fantastic and amenities were fantastic. Our only issue was the amount of noise from construction site across the street which made it hard to hear in the backyard. Everything else was perfect. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Waimea Beach cottage! It was quaint, comfortable, clean, and cozy, providing all the amenities we desired. The outdoor tub and shower, the front porch were highlights, and we enjoyed the close proximity to the fishing pier and Wrangler Steakhouse. The sunset views near the pier were breathtaking, and we even spotted dolphins during our visit! This sweet cowboy town has our heart with its quiet, local charm that made our experience even more special. We will certainly be back in the future and are already planning a return trip for 2 to 4 weeks next winter! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful getaway. "The room was clean but the property had clutter that needed to be cleaned up. My room had no issues, had no ocean view, the park and ocean view are a block away. I cooked on the barbeque and used the pavilion, that was great. The beach near the hotel has cloudy water from the river, a few miles down the road are perfect beaches."

"We could not have found a better location for a 3 generation trip! The house was equipped with everything we needed for beach outings, cooking and generally relaxing! We lucked out with not only a lovely view of he ocean but we also saw lots of whales!Our hosts were readily available but not intrusive. We loved the beach updates of where seals and turtles could be seen!The proximity to uncrowded beaches was a definite plus and finding the coffee shop "Milk and Honey" within walking distance was a highlight that should not be missed.If we decide not to explore another island on our next trip to Hawaii, we will be returning to Hale La.
