Tamarindo Beach is a beautiful beach with amazing waves, sunsets and so much more. Tamarindo is a great town full of things to do, great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. People from all over the world call Tamarindo "home" making it a melting pot of experiences, food, and activities. Tamarindo has something for everyone...from family-friendly restaurants and activities, surf lessons, kayaking, boogie boarding, etc. to great restaurants, bars, and nightlife. There are amazing boutiques, souvenir shopping and great grocery stores, and farmers and night markets. Tamarindo is a great place to take a surf lesson or to hop on a boat for a day of fishing or a sunset Catamaran tour. We even have a skate park and basketball court for those who want something to do in addition to the beach.

The Tamarindo Bay offers surf breaks for multiple levels of surfers and calm waters for those who just want to swim and float. The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball, or just sitting and watching the sunset.

Just outside of Tamarindo, there are amazing bike trails for mountain bikers, and it's an easy drive to many other amazing beaches. Tamarindo has lodging for everyone's budget - from budget-friendly small units in town to multi-million dollar houses up on the hill with amazing views.

From your private patio w/ ceiling fan you'll experience wonderful views of the pool and ocean. The unit has central air, cable TV, DVD, full kitchen, and more. The Sunrise condominium complex is a Spanish, hacienda-style design featuring 24-hour security, secure parking and an oversized pool. In the heart of Tamarindo, it’s just a few steps from the beach, numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, surf shops, bank, casino and internet cafe. It's just across the street from Playa Tamarindo, a favorite surf location. Despite its central location, the Sunrise complex is quiet, safe and private. Each unit at Sunrise is modern and tastefully decorated. The central air-conditioning keeps your condo cool and comfortable while you enjoy the ocean views (selected units), from your terrace. GREAT location, thoughtful welcoming gifts. Well equipped. (Some pots and pans could use replacing as most were non stick so getting “tired”. We didn’t mention it’s during our stay because we easily made due with the large stainless pan and other supplies that were there.)Good amounts of everything else. Nice pool, safe and secure. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Wonderful get away!

We absolutely loved our stay. We read all the online reviews so we knew exactly what to expect. For us however, because we surf, it was underrated on just how convenient it was to our surfing! We will definitely be back. The only issue we had; In December when I made my initial payment it was on a card I had to claim Fraud on, issuing me a new card. I had sent the owner messages making sure my new card transferred and it did not, causing frustrating trying to check in. I just wish I would have been communicated to from my VBRO site and the owner. Other than that, once we were in, all great. The pool was amazing. If anyone is looking to rent Boards, Jose who owns Moore Surf, absolutely a fantastic guy and a super instructor for me. Heart of gold.

I would give this property 10 stars if that was an option. The suite and property is well taken care of and in an excellent location. Security is excellent and very friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine, a fresh bag of Costa Rica coffee and a nice welcome note. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent were supplied. Lots of cleaning supplies and towels for the pool and beach. We stayed 16 days and the maid came twice to clean. She did a good job and spoke good English. On the second day someone left a delicious loaf of buns and a jar of applesauce. Maybe a bakery promotion but we could not find the store later to thank them. Also let RPM(management company) know a couple of things that were not working and they had maintenance repair them before we returned to the condo that day. Never seen that before!! Very friendly and prompt with the service for sure. I would definitely stay there again if I visited Costa Rica.

Spacious w obstructed view of beach

The place was nice and clean and cooled on arrival. It is dated which you can tell by photos but has everything you need. Master bath has no real room for toiletries so we used a stool and the coffee make absolutely needs to be replaced! Took forever to make a pot and the pause and serve feature no longer works. We enjoyed the patio where one of of use could sit to see the beach. Management company was good with communication and we enjoyed many restaurants around town. Tamarindo was a great experience.

Great location, super comfy

First off, the pictures don't do justice to the interior decorations. The paint is not that garish in real life, the orange and green will not burn your eyes out, and the surfboards mounted on walls with high ceilings look great. The hosts left a little gift bag of coffee & wine to get started. I needed to go next the shop next door to pick up coffee filters & a corkscrew, but that was a minor detail. The location is perfect for dawn patrol surfing or simply walking on the beach at sunrise. Easily walkable to restaurants, and quiet away from everything. There is dedicated parking & a guard house.

Really good home base for Costa Rica vacation

Property has a nice pool and great location. It's right in the heart of Tamarindo which has a nice surf beach. It's not the prettiest town but has lots of food options. Condo isn't the most luxurious but it all works. Bunk bed in kids room is very high and doesn't have a safety rail or a ladder that we saw.

There were small things like the stove being broken and no water on the last day for a period but overall a great stay. A little grungy and can use some updating. Would be nice if they provided pool floaties or something similar. But still a great time!

Beautiful Condo near the beach

We stayed at this beautiful well appointed condo in April 2024. They left us yummy treats to enjoy which we really appreciated. The location is amazing. It is right across the street from the beach. It is centrally located so all the restaurants and shopping is right there. There is a grocery store steps away from the property. We rented a golf cart but truthfully didn’t need it. The view from the porch is amazing. We loved the pool. We could hear the howler monkeys every morning and saw them in the property on our last day.

The property was excellent. Well located with a surprisingly large deck which we used constantly. The property is very well situated so going out at night was never a problem. There is a small grocery store very close. The pool was warm and clean...well used by our grankids. The unit my son rented had some beach chairs. We did not so that would have been nice. The u it itself was set up well so no complaints. We enjoyed our stay.
