this beach is a gem. Can’t believe we’ve stayed on Tamarindo Bay and never adventured this far. Condo was ver nice. The pool was fabulous. Beautiful views. Friendly people. I would return here in a second.

Paradise Perfection!

Our stay was amazing. The unit and view from patio were even better than the pictures. We had a lovely welcome gift waiting along with paper products for the week. The unit was very clean and set cool for our arrival. I didn’t realize there were 2.5 baths in the condo which was appreciated when everyone was getting ready. The beach behind the unit highlights black sand patches and lava rock; it’s beautiful. Beach massages were offered right behind our unit on Monday (we had rain the rest of the week). This location offers long walks on the beach to areas with great views the entire way. There was a security guard on site 24 hours with locked gates located at all entrances. We ate at the pizza restaurant across the street twice and highly recommend. This location was so quiet in the evening we could hear the waves crashing on the beach from the master bedroom. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Unit Has Terrible Mildew Odor

The unit had a strong odor of mildew that made it less enjoyable than it could have been. The condo complex has a great location with beach access and a welcoming pool. The condo was spacious and well-furnished, more than adequate for our small family of three. Everything was great except for one major issue, upon checking in to the unit, there was an overwhelming odor of mildew that persisted the entire trip. We opened the unit in the morning and evening to try and get fresh air, which helped temporarily. But if the unit was closed for any length of time, the mildew odor was very strong. We let the condo manager know upon arrival, and they stopped by while we were out to spray air freshener, which helped momentarily. We decided to enjoy the trip and not let the strong odor ruin our experience, but we were disappointed in the condition of the unit. The condo owner should figure out what is causing this overwhelming mildew odor prior to booking future rentals. This was our third trip to CR and we've never had this unfortunate experience in any other units. The clean clothes that we brought home still smell like mildew so we had to wash them all once again upon coming home. Address mold/mildew issues before renting this unit to anyone else!

Anniversary Stay

This large condo was absolutely a pleasure to stay at... We celebrated our 39th anniversary. The location was perfect for us, very quiet and just a short walk to restaurants. Sunsets, beach walks, pool time all as described in the listing. RPM was great with communication and made the transaction Very Easy. We were moved to a different condo due to an issue with our booked one. I appreciate working with a company that takes care of their clients and provides upgraded room when there is an issue. We will book this location with the property manager next year.

Great Experience!

Ran into an immediate problem with our rental as there was construction, unbeknownst to the owner, taking place in the unit above us, which included banging on the walls and floor. Presented this issue to management and they immediately provided multiple solution options, including a unit in the beautiful property next door to the one we were booked in. We chose this option and they had it ready for us before we were done with drinks and appetizers at a nearby restaurant. The new unit was excellent and we had a fantastic trip. What could've really put a damper on a trip was addressed and fixed with an outstanding solution and experience in no time. Thank you!

Formidable séjour !

Mon conjoint, moi et un couple d’amis avons séjourné pendant une semaine dans ce superbe condo. Nous avons ADORÉ! Gardien de sécurité très gentil, beau terrain bien entretenu, belle piscine toujours propre. La cuisine du condo était plus que complète. Il y a toute la vaisselle nécessaire pour cuisiner….même des smoothies avec les bons fruits juteux du Costa Rica! À tous les jours, nous nous faisions des smoothies que nous buvions près de la piscine. Beaucoup de tranquillité. Belle plage à gauche à 4 minutes à pieds. On peut marcher très longtemps sur la plage. Quelques restaurants disponibles tout près et une petite épicerie. Nous avons loué un golf qui nous a été livré directement au condo. Cela nous a permis de nous rendre rapidement à Tamarindo. L’endroit est très sécuritaire. La communication était très rapide avec les propriétaires. Ils nous ont référé des activités et la location du golf car. Nous sommes enchantés de notre voyage. Merci !!!

Beautiful, quiet property with an ocean view

This property was exactly as pictured. The communication with the property management was always easy. Lola answered our questions in a friendly and timely manner. The location of the property was perfect as it was a little bit out of the main center and we just wanted to relax and enjoy the pool and the ocean. While laying by the pool we enjoyed the local wildlife, there are hummingbirds and geckos and squirrels and many more beautiful species to see. The condo itself was perfect, it had three bathrooms and two bedrooms that were clean and welcoming . There were just enough items to make our stay enjoyable. There were spices for cooking and dish soap and towels to wash dishes. There is a dishwasher but we only had a few dishes at a time and were grateful for the dish drying rack. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was wonderful as well. There were beach towels provided which we enjoyed. There were other items like a DVD player and DVD's that we didn't use but they would be nice for families on those rainy days. Luis and Edgar at the front gate were very helpful when we required directions or a taxi. The taxi was only about $5.00 to get to the heart of downtown. There is a market within a block that has everything anyone would require such as fruits and vegetables and bread and eggs and peanut butter and alcohol and medicinal items. There are a couple of restaurants that are amazing as well such as the Langosta Cafe which had the most delicious food I've ever eaten and there's a surfer pub which has games to play such as table tennis and other games. This was just a perfect place for our quiet get-away and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful and safe place to stay in the Tamarindo area.

Great spot on a quiet stunning beach

Spent a week in this condo just off playa langosta. The condo was clean and well situated with a nice pool and direct access to the beach. The only hiccup was a leaky AC u it which was quickly dealt with by property managers. The site is on a quiet stretch of beach just north of Playa Labgosta. It has a small super market just across the street and is a 3 min drive into town. We spent one afternoon on tamarindo and never went back as the beach is overrun with newby surfers and it’s nearly impossible to get into the water without huge groups of beginner suffers and boards running into you. Would never go back to that beach. That being said playa langosta is an empty gem with stunning views and great surf. The beach is across a small river that you can easily wade across in mid to low tide( high tide be aware of the rip current). The beach was nearly empty all week with only a few couples/ other families on it. I’m stunned more people don’t use this over tamarindo but not complaining. Great condo in a nice quiet spot with direct access to a stunning and quiet surfable beach

Langosta Lounging

The property is located in Langosta Beach and it is such easy walking into Tamarindo. There are also amenities nearby like restaurants and a small grocery store. The property itself has fantastic beach access and ocean views. I love that I can get a beachfront massage located in front of the property, I enjoy listening to the ocean, the people at the property and the evening sunsets are not to be missed! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN TAMARINDO AREA

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed spending about a total of 700 days in the condo. The complex has become very crowded in the high season with lots of kids and noise around the pool area. First floor has most noise and mosquitos. The unit has some problems but still nice. The dishwasher will not clean dishes and the draws in master bedroom are impossible to use. The owner has raised prices dramatically and this is the reason that we are not coming back. Safety on the first floor is an issue and a few years back, we were robbed while sleeping.

It has great access to the pool while still having privacy. I liked that it was on the ground floor and I didn't have to walk up stairs every time I needed a drink or wanted to use the bathroom. I would definitely rent here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about our trip was wonderful but we did hit a few snags with our condo. We lost power in the first day and it was out for about 24 hours. The power outage caused our dishwasher not to work the entire trip and we were without A/C for the first night. None of these major items but it did make us question the overall maintenance of the units. We realize that the units were having construction done on the roof so we know that the issues were being addressed. All in all we had a wonderful time and the mgmt. company was great to work with and very accomodating
