LOCATION

You have several beach access points from this property; however, across the street, at 0.4 miles (700 m) walking distance, from the gated community that includes Casa Lomas del Mar, is Pangas Restaurant, a delightful Guanacaste fusion bar/restaurant set in the sand where the estuary meets the ocean. You can access the beach from here during working hours and make this your starting point for walks along the beach into the town of Tamarindo where you will experience the energy of this lively beach town.

Our group of three couples enjoyed our stay at Casa Loma very much! The pictures of the house were spot on. Cindy, our housekeeper/chef was wonderful; kept the house spotless, was a joy to be around, and cooked great breakfasts. Adriana, the property host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful when a need arose or we had a question. A car is a necessity as it is not practical to walk up the hills to the home, and there is much to see in the area. The pool is beautiful, even if cold, and the sun deck is great. We even had a couple of early morning visits from monkeys who traveled through nearby trees (not near enough to the house to be a concern but still close enough to be entertaining). Food, and basically everything in Tamarindo is surprisingly expensive but well worth the cost. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home and Gorgeous Views

The property was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures online. The views from the pool and upstairs bedroom were amazing and our favorite part of the home. Accommodations were perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenage girls) but could easily accommodate more people/ 2 families. The location of the home was very good for what we were looking for - close to all the restaurants and beach. Sunsets from the pool/outdoor living area were our favorite part. Host was very responsive and helpful with all of our requests!

Beautiful property and great amenities. Had a few issues with electric going down as well as water line but that may have been caused by the construction in the community. Would highly recommend for a nice family (8 or less) getaway. Having the pool heated would have been a plus to use more often

Amazing House!

This house was fantastic. It exceeded all of our expectations. The house is very well designed, open, with great views, and a great place to have a family or several couples (we were two couples and it worked perfectly). The master bedroom was great, with a full balcony and great deck, amazing views. And the casita was a really cool, second guest house, also with great views. The kitchen was very good, and the pool was great (infinity pool with a great view down the hill). Also, the neighborhood was quiet, with security, and separation between houses (the house next door was a family with small kids, and it was never a problem at all). It's also super convenient to the main drag on Tamarindo, and very walkable. Finally, the management of the property is so helpful. They were always available and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. (Honestly, I wish we lived there)!

Wonderful Experience

Cris and Adriana were incredibly helpful from before we arrived all the way through to the end. We didn’t plan much in advance, but everything we wanted to set up was literally just a call or message away. Also recommended a private chef Adriana who made it so worth it to stay in and eat, some of the best food I’ve ever had. The house was incredible as well pictures can’t even describe that sunset everyday. Would return for literally any occasion. Highly recommended.

Amazing views and property

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Casa Lomas, the house was beautiful and had many amenities that made the stay extra special. The concierge service, Christina, was phenominal, she was responsive and helpful prior to and during the trip. We utilized the House Chef, Adriana, 5 times and the food was out of this world. All fresh and local food made from scatch. Her menu has something for everyone, and if it does not then she can tailor the meal to your needs and was able to handle allergies easily. if there was a problem with anything it was taken care of immediatetly. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in a gorgeous home with stunning views. You will need a vehicle of some sort to get to the home. It is not easy to get up the hill on foot.
