"I grew up in Eugene and spent many days on the McKenzie River. We’ve been out of state for many years now but still come back to Oregon as often as we can. This was the perfect property to enjoy reminiscing with some of our grown children. Very cozy setting and everything we needed. We caught one of the Pineapple Express storms that I remember growing up and even had a long power outage where we enjoyed the wood stove and improvising. The host was helpful throughout our stay and kept us updated on the power outage. The sound of the river was so therapeutic! The only drawback really was not having more time…we’ll definitely be coming back!"
"Everything was absolutely perfect ! The 15 of us had a great pre Christmas Christmas and the hosts even had a tree and decorations that made it more like Christmas for us. This is an awesome place for large groups !!"
McKenzie Riverfront Cabin big screened-in porch, 1/2mi to Mckenzie River Trail
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay and loved our time spent at the cabin. The location was right on the river which provided beautiful views. We stayed for Thanksgiving and even though we brought most of our tools just in case, the kitchen provided everything we needed. We stayed with our kids, 10 and 13 and had a wonderful time reading by the fire together and playing family games. We left with great memories. "
"We found this to be a cozy and welcoming cabin with a view of the river. The listing and photos described the property exactly. Very clean. Kitchen area is compact but well equipped. There is a 2-burner electric cooktop and microwave, no oven. Beds are comfortable. The 3-sided windowed nook with the additional queen bed was a great place to chill out. Very dog friendly - water dish, dog towels, poo bags. Try the pizza at Takoda’s Restaurant and take the time to hike Sahalie Falls. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to a return trip."
"We had a fun stay along the McKenzie River. The cabin was well stocked with basic needs and games, but mostly we lounged near the river where there was plenty of space and privacy for fishing or relaxing. We will definitely plan to stay again. This cabin was a great weekend escape with lots of nearby hiking and fishing. "
