Could’ve had the potential to be an amazing stay

This vacation rental could’ve had the potential to be an amazing stay however, after checking in we noticed the bedsheet had a smell to them when walking into the bedroom with the two beds. When we got close to the bed to sit down on them, you immediately smelled it. It was like the sheets were left in the washer for too long and had a mildew smell like wet clothes type of smell. While all the sheets were washing, my two babies were crawling around the floor while we got situated and when I picked them up, their feet, hands and knees were black. Not just a little bit of dirt on them, full on black. The floor didn’t seem to be cleaned in a long time because how could that be? The floors were probably never mopped just vacuum led or swept but it was extremely disgusting. When I brought it up to the owner she just recommended dropped off supplies to clean the home myself. The house should’ve been throughly cleaned prior to the guest, that’s why we pay a cleaning fee right? Other things that didn’t necessarily affect the stay but would’ve been nice would be that the porch screens were fixed and not broken and flying off. The porch screen door wouldn’t close and would always fly open. The screen to that door was broke and flying back and forth. There was only two pans and one big soup pot to cook with. The rest of the items were baking sheets. We had to buy two small pots to cook what we needed. You would think for the price you’re paying for a stay, that it will come readily equipped with the important things needed.
