Perfect Family Getaway

What a wonderful stay at this lovely home on the River. We saw dolphins, a manatee, alligators, birds and even a Star Link Satellite launch. Look forward to staying here again.

Quiet Bungalow

Our stay here was excellent! Location was close to my family, close proximity to restaurants and shops and we even fished in the backyard. We are looking forward to this renting this place again and again!

Everything was as told in description. River view was a calm and relaxing place for after a busy day. However, master bathroom doors need to be fixed, they did not close properly.

Beautiful.

Beautiful and inviting home so much to do there from enjoying the view of water to barbecuing in the backyard close to everything as well like theme parks,convenient stores and restaurants we will be booking again.

Great House Except for Beds

One of the most thoughtful renovations I've seen, and the backyard and river view are as lovely as the photos. However, I had perhaps my worst sleep night ever while traveling in the master bedroom. The mattress foam topper seemed like industrial foam and the pillows were miserable. I slept okay the second two nights on the bouncy bed in the second bedroom.

Hillsborough on the river

The house was great. The homeowner decorated the home with beautiful accents and top shelf finishes. It was lovely inside. The yard set up was enjoyable and provided a peaceful setting. The house was very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture for a small group. The surrounding area/neighborhood was surprisingly not nearly as nice as the home we stayed in. The dog next door barked quite a bit throughout the night and there were many stray cats around but they kept their distance. Got to see some alligators in the river behind the house (the cement wall made them no danger to us at all) It is conveniently located to Tampa. We would definitely consider renting this home again.we did not have a winery experience although it won't let me submit with out it.

Archaix Tampa

We came to give a all day seminar on Calendrical History if the Israelites through Chronology of ancient books. House accomidated us well. It was so beautiful in the bavkyard with the seating areas and firepit.

Perfect Stay & Looking Forward to Returning

We had a magical time and have special memories from our stay. The best part of our trip (including all activities) was playing games at this home & enjoying the outside fire pit. Kathie was proactive in ensuring we would know how to check in, attentive, and ensured our stay was great. Thank you! Felt like home and we wanted to stay.

Weekend trip

Location was very convenient to Raymond James. Back yard was very pretty, some traffic noise from whatever road/bridge is right there.The actual street the house is on is very quiet though.Biggest complaint was the motion detection lights kept going off during the night and waking us up. The house has been very nicely decorated, beds are comfy. Communication with the rental company was very good! Oh we did have a giggle at master bath toilet, nothing wrong at all just not the norm :) Seating in the living was a little limited but it was fine for our trip, might be an issue for a longer trip or bad weather situation. Id probably stay again when in the area. iff during the night

Awesome

I have been in a lot of VRBOs for work. But this one was the best. Ever. The river has so many cool animals. We saw ducks, manatees, dolphins, bats, gators, and the sweetest neighbor cat ever. The house is nicer than it looks on camera. Both master rooms wake up on the water. Host was quick and nice. My big dogs loved the backyard playspace. I would def stay again if in the area.

Decorators Dream

We love artistically decorated homes with various materials and textures esthetically represented. Home on the Hillsborough was excellent in this delivery. The home was immaculate. The landscape is natural and and just as pictured on the rental site. We saw various native birds, and an alligator on the opposite side of the river (there is a retaining wall on the property side of the river so no fear of alligators entering the yard). There are a few chickens and roosters in the neighborhood so it was comforting to hear the rooster crow a few times in the morning. The only cons were that I-275 is very close to the property so you will occasionally hear traffic and sirens. Also, the refrigerator motor is a bit noisy. The greatroom TV is not a smart TV however, the 3 bedrooms do have smart tvs. All in all though we enjoyed the home!

Comfy Cozy

The house was perfect and comfortable for our short stay to attend some Tampa parks. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and close distance to the zoo and downtown.
