"Adorable boutique hotel right in between Little Italy in Chinatown. Friendly and helpful staff. Location amazing with dozens of dining options literally around the corner. Easy uber ride to midtown. "
"We come here at least 2-4 times per year to be by the National Harbor or to go to surrounding areas like Old Town Alexandria or Baltimore. Always a great stay! The shuttle is very convenient as well so that we don't have to find parking at the Harbor. This time was to be close to Northwest Stadium to watch football. Very convenient location for many things!!!"
"The Heron is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Heron King, and were very impressed. The bathroom, with real marble tile, a beautiful shower, and the provided soaps and lotions were amazing. We loved the Heron theme, down to the clothes closet with heron print, heron robe to use and even heron drink coasters. Rooftop bar is a MUST, we had cocktails there with a great view of the city. Ate breakfast in the Kiln, was awesome, with good sized portion, lots of bacon and really good sour dough toast. Free coffee in the lobby and very nice staff. It is a nice short walk to the restaurants and water front, Old Town is great to visit. We look forward to returning to the heron!!"

"Although first impressions of tattered entry rugs, the hotel was welcoming. The staff were friendly and accmmodating, The evening started with a complimentary drink (either sangria or an old fashioned). Being directly on King street , it allowed for easy walking to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. The free King street trolley was an added bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable "
