“The sound of the refrigerator and air conditioner was so loud that I had to turn off the air conditioner but the quilt was so thin that I was woken up by the cold at night. The refrigerator was noisy but I couldn't turn it off. I went to bed at three in the morning, woke up at six in the morning and slept until about seven. I only slept for more than four hours at night.”

“The property was absolutely beautiful with a breathtaking view. Ms. Lisa was amazingly helpful. She was accessible at all times and i really appreciate her being so kind and patient.”

“Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!”

“Pre trip communication with owner was good. The instructions for staying in the house were very informative with directions, code, eating recommendations, etc. Nice trail around the lake for morning walks. Very peaceful and the beds were very comfy. Weather was not good for using the deck, but did get to sit out on one evening. Great place!”

“Everything was perfect. We were a group of six ladies, ages 79 to 80. We have been pals since high school. The house was perfect. Kitchen was beyond belief….the best of everything. There was lots of room for everyone; the huge yard was exquisite. Alexis answered our questions promptly and was easy to reach by phone. My only suggestion is that one or two hand railings be added to the front porch so we old folks can hang on while entering or exiting!! Thank your for a fun three days.”

“We had a good time. Our stay was not about the rental, just a bed to sleep in. It was fun in the fact that it was such a small space with everything but a couch and a t.v. Only complaints were it was hot up in lofty area, no air and then the dog scared the bageebers out of us on our way out. But had all things needed for a short stay:)”

“Our kids were so close to the lifts they cld walk there from the house. Lots of room for everyone, very comfortable and cozy yet spacious and clean. Everything you need is at this home and you can see the lifts from the patio.”

“The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It is an amazing area with plenty to do. We had a large group and everyone had their own space and we were able to do different things when they wanted. The lake was beautiful. We enjoyed the canoe and the slide, I would definitely recommend this location and property!”

“Large and comfortable space to stay, very clean, comfortable bed, has everything you need! You are supposed to check in by 8pm, which I didn’t see beforehand, so just a heads up on that. The owner will come down & unlock the door the first time & then you take it from there!”

The home is beautifully appointed with modern features, smart TVs for all your streaming needs, comfortable beds, and the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. “I booked Witch Hazel Cottage for a long weekend to get some quiet, interruption-free writing done, and it was perfect. It also happened to be an unseasonably warm weekend, so I was nervous about it becoming uncomfortably hot in the room, but the hosts offered and set up a window a/c unit for me that kept things nice and cool. Really enjoyed my stay and will probably stay again the next time I need to get some deep work in!”
