Great place to call home on a ski trip

This small home was exactly as described. It was fun to stay in a authentic and historical place true to the spirit of Taos. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful!

Although quite small, the property is lovely and was perfect for us! Nicely furnished, great outdoor area, close to most places you’d want to go. Patty and Juan are fabulous hosts!

Quiet Adobe Abode in Taos

Great "adobe decor" place for couples that want to experience the beauty of Taos and enjoy a quiet setting at the end of a day. Easy walk to the square, close to many great restaurants. Patty & Juan are super people, great hosts, very helpful. We spent 5 wonderful days...exploring, relaxing, dining. Hope to return!!

Taos'

Warm, inviting, and cozy- we loved the layout and all the touches. Super clean. A little oasis so close to the heart of Taos, and with excellent communication from the hosts. Quiet surroundings. We'd stay again!

Nice little Taos get away spot

Overall a nice place to stay. Stunning mountain views from driveway. Shopping and restaurants a short walk away, but probably not walkable in the dark as there are no sidewalks and scarce street lights in the neighborhood. Great kitchen space with laundry! Entry doorway is a bit short.

Charming stay

We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Taos. The home was spotless and nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet only 15 minutes from the plaza. Every time we entered the home, it was kind of like a warm hug - there was something so comforting about it. We walked to the plaza daily - in the morning for coffee and a pastry and in the evening for live music at the Adobe Bar. The owners supplied two rechargeable flashlights that we used on our evening walks, which were great because it gets dark early in the winter. The fenced backyard with a table and four chairs was really nice to relax in. And there is an incredible view of the mountains right out the front door. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cute and compact

The property was off the beaten path a bit more than we anticipated. Driving up to it, the location and neighborhood looked "sketchy." We almost left before inspecting further. It turned out to be as cute as the pictures on the inside and well appointed. It was clean and was equipped with quality items. Three adults were planning on staying, however, the ladder to the loft made it too difficult for any adult in our group to maneuver for coming down. We ended up having to get an additional room at a hotel. The ceilings are extremely low in all areas, except the kitchen. While the outside looked iffy, the neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. It wasn't convenient for walking to the downtown area for meals and exploring.

This house is so so adorable and homey. The kitchen was well stocked and there was coffee. It is a quick walk to the square and a nice coffee shop. The hosts were lovely and easy to contact.

Perfect Stay in Taos

This may be the cleanest, best-maintained place I have ever stayed. It's really lovely. The ceilings are low, but didn't bother me (at 6'1") and you must rely on open windows and fans for cooling (no A/C) but we were very comfortable in July. The backyard was a nice place to spend time. The area was quiet and peaceful, but only a short walk form the plaza. I highly recommend.

Sweet spot

Juan and Patty's place exceeded all my expectations. The layout is artful and unique, and the vibe is serene. The photos and thorough description in the listing were all very accurate, but if anything they undersell the property--everything felt nicer and more spacious than described. I made the twisty half-mile walk to the central plaza several times on foot with no difficulty. I was there on my own, but would have been very comfortable with spouse and 2 kids as well. (4 adults would want to be very good friends.) I'd return in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone under 6 feet!

Great place

Clean, cutely appointed, well equipped kitchen. My only complaint is that you can't stand up straight in the upstairs loft if you are over 5'6 or so but I think it states that in the description. There was a problem with the heater and it was taken care of very quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

The perfect little place

Such a cute and clean place with all the comforts of home. The warm kiva fireplaces gave it the Taos charm we were seeking. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom made this the perfect stay!
