"Marjorie, the manager, was incredibly helpful and kind. All the massages were booked for Sunday, but when a cancellation came up, she personally found me to let me know—great customer service. The spa was very relaxing, and the room had a beautiful view. The restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend the stuffed fish or lobster. I would definitely stay here again. Every staff member was friendly and always greeted you, which made the experience even better."

"Terrible communication"

"Our 9-day stay at El Xalli was truly lovely. From the very beginning, communication with the staff was seamless and welcoming, even before we arrived. Once there, everyone made us feel right at home with their kindness and attentiveness. Although I didn’t catch everyone’s name, Erick was especially helpful and responsive during our stay, which we really appreciated. One of our favorite parts was enjoying breakfast in our room each morning. The Desayuno Típico was a standout, the Grand Slam was good, and the Power Smoothie was delicious. They were out of açaí during our visit, so we didn’t get to try the bowls—but that just gives us something to look forward to next time. The housekeeping team did a great job, and we appreciated how well the space was maintained. The views were beautiful, and the pools appeared clean for the most part. The only downside was the presence of red ants around the property. Since we were traveling with a service dog, that was a bit of a concern. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return."
