“Property is unique, like a time capsule/living museum that's beautifully preserved, from the tiles to the wrought iron and historical photos throughout the common areas. . The view from the balcony over the Amazon is incredibly memorable. The manager, Francisco, went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay and helped out with booking transportation and anything else we needed. When we mentioned it was our son's birthday, he even decorated our hotel room door and had a birthday cake……

“The breakfast was just okay. The pool was closed for maintenance, though no one was working on it. The front-desk staff were very nice. Nonetheless, overall, the Victoria Regia is a nicer hotel. ”

“We had dead mosquitoes in the bed sheets. However, the receptionist was always friendly and helpful. Also, the water isn’t clean, it’s slightly brown. But this is because Iquitos is in the Amazon jungle.”
