Excellent Florida Keys Getaway
My wife and I had a wonderful stay here during the month of March escaping the cold from the Northeast. The house was immaculate and decorated very nicely inside. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials items. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The house backs up to a canal/waterway from which we could watch the graceful pelicans gliding by from the very large back deck which is where we spent a lot of our time.
Rene was a very gracious host and even let us check in a day earlier when our schedule shifted at the last minute. We highly recommended taking advantage of the 2 kayaks he provided as there are a number of great places to kayak thru the mangroves in the keys. We even saw a manatee and a sea turtle during one of times out and watched beautiful sunsets from the water avoiding the crowds on the beach/shorelines.
Make sure you have have a way to transport the kayaks though. I ordered some inexpensive kayak racks from Amazon while we were down there. It was worth it.
If we ever decide to head back to the Key Largo area again we would definitely stay here again.
