Very clean and well maintained hotel. Staff very professional and helpful. Created by everyone during interactions, check in, maintenance, housekeeping, and cook at breakfast. I literally checked in walking downtown, and the room was ready by the time I walked to the hotel.

I had contact with reception, cleaners, chefs, they all nice. parking in the basement free if you are a good negotiator otherwise 10 Euro a day, plenty food all the time. The only downside is the wall need to be soundproofed some neighbours are loud if you encounter this call the reception and complain.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Maria in reception was really especially helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back. Great location too.

It was a nice hotel although March when we stayed so the pool wasn't open. Rooms were clean. Depending on which person at the desk you talk to, some were helpful. If I go back I would probably stay again.

Best Hotel ever!

It was amazing stay. This is the best hotel in whole Algavre. Great localization, amazing breakfast, superb indoor and outdoor pools. Staff hits the highest standards. Christiano is massage-guru - you should try spa services at the hotel. Everything is perfect here from cleaning service to the reception girls. We are gratefull for amazing stay and birthday gift for my wife - you’ve made our holiday amazing!!!

Overall Lovely

Professional Hotel staff. Great location, walking distance to the whole city. Nice pool with entertainment but chilly because it's unheated. Our balcony had fantastic, fragrant white flowers in planters. Really nice breakfast buffet. Overall a pleasent stay and fair price since it included breakfast.

ADEQUATE, BUT A FEW ISSUES

Sadly, it took many attempts to get into my room - 4 faulty key cards, then offered a different toom and another faulty card. Room comfortable. Disappointed there is a charge for the room safe, which was not on Hotels.com website. No tea or coffee making facilities. Balcony covered in pugeon poo, so beware leaving anything out to dry. Worryingly, the maid uses the same mop and water to ckean the bathroom floor, as the poo covered balcony. Extensive breakfast. Can be quiet eatly, unless a tour group is leaving, when it's manic. Pool is a decent size, but cold in Sept. Activity clases are very hit and miss re timing! Very close to R Gilao and plenty of easy walking and restaurants around. Car parking at the hotel also incurs a charge.

We arrived quite early having had an early morning flight from the UK. We managed to leave our luggage behind the front desk, and the staff promised to call once our room was ready, which he duly did. The hotel lobby is quite large and has a number of soft seats, and door opening out to a central courtyard where the outdoor pool is. The room was fairly large with a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel which caught the sun in the evening. The Bathroom was also a good size. Everything was clean, though I did find the beds a little too hard. There are spa facilities at the hotel, but we didn't know you have to book, presumably this is to limit numbers at any one time. Not a problem once we knew. You will also need a swimcap for the pool, which we also didn't know, so had to buy one from the spa. There is an outdoor pool too, but this was too cold for me in March. The breakfasts we found could vary dependent upon which time you arrived. There were a number of largish groups (golf etc.) who tended to eat between 07:30 and 08:30, during this time it was a bit chaotic, as staff couldn't replenish the buffet items or clear tables quickly enough. However, later in the morning things were a bit quieter and more comfortable. There is the usual hot and cold items, plus eggs to order. I was impressed with the egg lady who was doing a great job, multitasking eggs, omlettes and pancakes. The hot food too was plentiful, but I thought the selection of cold cuts was poor

Close to a number of nice restaurants. Hotel restaurant staff not terribly accommodating so we didn’t eat there. Check in was slow. Front desk staff couldn’t seem to provide the simplest tunings like extra toilet paper or Kleenex. Spa area need some fixing up.

The hotel was family friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. We found free street parking. Tavira is extremely walkable and we were super close to the ferry to Tavira Island. The only thing I didn't care fore was the smell of cigarettes in the common areas.
