The unit was in bit of rough shape. Drywall damage, needed to painted, hallways somewhat dirty. For the price, it was certainly sufficient, but a little tlc could go a long way on this property.

This hotel is nice and convenient to the Furano gondola. Important to note that many prefer the other side of the mountain for better expert terrain. The room (2 beds) is very tight. Decently designed for hanging ski gear, but lacking in drawers for other things. The bathroom is the best part. Roomy, for Japan, and great water pressure in the shower. The beds are firm and may not suit all. Interesting pillows - one had an almost straw like filler. The staff is friendly and very willing to help. Great ski equipment room. My one complaint is that there are no areas where you can gather without having to order food/drink from the hotel and play games, cards or simply socialize. I’m used to the lobby being a point of gathering in most places, but Nozo seems to think you need to pay to enjoy their limited lobby area. We only ate one meal there, but enjoyed the burgers. The Onsen is relatively small, but very clean and functional. I will consider the hotel again, but have found better options through talking to other skiers.
