“Nice place”

“Booked property specifically as a pay at check in which is very common for us when we travel. They charged my card the night before which was not the one I was planning to use. When we arrived, attendant was rude and said we'll its a holiday weekend so they run all the cards ahead of time. My thought...hmmm false advertising...then... Got to property to check in and it was 20 minutes before 3pm. We were told there is an early check in fee of $35... so we left and came back at 3 to a long line……

“One of our room still had Taco Bell I. It and the coffee maker still had the previous pod still in it”

“Great place to stay. I wish the lake was more fishing friendly with more species of fish.”

“- Listing stated that check in time is at 4 PM when we got there @4 pm , the office was closed for the day and we did not have any chick in instructions .”

“Room 111 smelled so terrible we tried to air it out by leaving the door open and blasting the AC . Didn’t help at all. We checked in so late and being on the road all day we didn’t want to try and argue about the room or go look for another place to stay. We just made do for the remaining early morning by sleeping. Mention to the guy at the desk the problems and left it at that.”

“The staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast room was great!! So many options and clean. The room was ok for our two day stay however, it needed to be deep cleaned. There was dust noticeable on headboard, dirty floor boards. There were ants in the bathroom shower and a spider on the wall. Pest control is needed. Great location for visiting the Taylor area. The motel is next to a main Hwy so you could hear loud vehicles quite late into the night. Guests were loud out in the part lot late……

“Traffic noise is absolutely horrible and the pool lights are shining directly into the room. We asked if there was a different room but was told, "no"; so much for paying for a suite. Plus a trash bag of garbage had been sitting out for 24 hours from an adjoining room and housekeeping did nothing. Not was I am used to with a Marriott Hotel, this was totally below standards.”

“Mattress was very firm. Bathroom tile was a little sketchy but overall this is a nice place. The breakfast was good but they were out of hot food item and VERY slow to replenish them.”
