「We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. 「Lovely hotel with great facilities, excellent breakfast and good location. Significant downside was the lack of cool air conditioning. The ventilation system could heat but not cool. It was not possible to get the room temperature below 24 degrees C which made for uncomfortable sleeping - even when the outside temperature in Dundee was no more than 15 degrees C.」
