「Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things.
The motel itself is quite dated. The beds were older but still comfortable, and the rooms only offer single and twin beds. I was glad to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. The...

「The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel.
The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.」

「The room was spotless and the check-in was pretty seamless (once we figured out the keypad directions). Everything about our short stay was great -- wonderful entertainment selection on the TV, lovely hot shower and water pressure, and an extremely comfortable bed. If we swing by there again I will make sure we book here.」

「The window blinds were broken so it was really bright overnight and the windows didn't open -- there was no air conditioning in the unit we were in. However, the room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Pillows weren't but for the price it was fine.」

「The host Ashley-Anne was very polite and greet us upon arrival. Check in was straight forward and parking was conveniently located. The suite was amiable. The room was clean with black robes/slippers and a very thoughtful welcome letter. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Access to kayaks and fire pit was very nice. Definitely worth the way! 」
