“I only have one small complaint about our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge - the mattress needs replacing (it felt like falling in a hole). Everything else was wonderful - clean, comfortable, welcoming, attractive. Loved welcome basket and lots of towels. Setting is lovely and nice comp'd breakfast at Apple Valley Cafe. Would gladly stay here again.”

“Awesome place to stay. The room was clean, neat and modern and made up every day. The furniture made the room feel like home, instead of all hoytie toytie like the bigger hotels. The young lady that checked us in was very professional and friendly. Rates were reasonable. I would highly recommend this motel and will stay there again should we visit TN in the future.”

“Breakfast was overwhelmed by a soccer team eating all at once. No seating, food was low. When large groups check in and are going to eat together it would be nice to give other patrons a heads up on the timing. ”

“The location abuts a very well trafficked Main Street = loud. The provided ear plugs and white noise machine were helpful but investing in window upgrades would be best. The staff was professional and friendly.”

“We chose Home2Suites West for two reasons: 1) It was close to the U Tenn, where we were part of a working dog study, which was why we were there, and 2) we were able to bring our working dogs to stay at the most welcoming dog-friendly motels in the area. About the motel: It is very convenient to both I75 and U Tenn (15 min from the building we were meeting at). There is a Kroger 2 minutes away, many restaurants within the same distance. About the service: Thank you Dave! You are an excellent……

“This comment is directed to Expedia. We chose this hotel over the courtyard because they advertised a manager’s reception. The hotel staff stated that this was not the case and that they had repeatedly told Expedia to remove the statement but Expedia failed to do so.”

“This is only the 2nd time at La Quinta and my husband and I really liked it. Very welcoming staff, quick check in, room very clean, they only charged $25 for the dog so truly pet friendly. Coffee was good, free breakfast was excellent! We first went here because other chains started charging $75 to $125 for our dog, which is outrageous! (Expedia, the fee should be shown if a property is listed as pet friendly!) But we will stay at La Quinta even if not traveling with the dog because of how well……
