"Lovely hotel, with boutique feel. We had a balcony with a view of Duomo. Hosts were wonderful- huge breakfast with lots of choice and knowledgeable about the location and town. Would recommend."

"I chose the Excelsior for its proximity to the train station, as I was arriving and leaving by train and also did an excursion by train to the Certosa nearby (which I highly recommend). It also was close enough to all of the other sights to be walkable. The room was spotlessly clean. Also, the city map provided by the hotel was excellent! Tourist maps often do not label all streets, or use printing so small that they are not user-friendly, but this one was great."
