Perfect place to explore Big Bend

We enjoyed our short stay here. The area is very remote and quiet. The home is comfortable and stocked with everything you would need. If we go back to Big Bend National Park, we will surely stay there again.

House was well stocked, clean and very adequate for our needs. Enjoyed the view of the surrounding area and the dark skies for the stars. Internet worked great as well.

Welcoming Mountainous Sanctuary

First time to Big Bend, overwhelming exceeded expectations. Authentic decor, well equipped, plenty of room for our family of four, outstanding/private location with a breathtaking view of the mountains and stars. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Lajitas/Big Bend

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Lajitas House. The property was exactly as listed and contained everything we needed for a great trip to Big Bend. The views from the kitchen table each morning and the fire pit for stargazing each night were some of our favorite parts about the house. Communication was great and we had no problems during our stay.

Heaven on Earth

This home is in the best location, with the best view and most Peaceful atmosphere!! If you want the stars at night and they mountain view during the day....this is it. This house is equipped perfectly!! We WILL be back!!

Anniversary trip

We have stayed at the Lajitas House 6 times over the past several years. It is our go to place in Big Bend. Great location and views, the house is clean and comfortable. Have recommended it to others and we will be back again for sure.

Beautiful Views Lajitas Home

This house is a favorite of our family. The location for access to activities ranging from Park hiking to canoeing , stargazing and photography, Visiting the ghost town of Terlingua or the chili cook offs … it truly is just a magnificent place to stay. Clean and great parking. And amazing hosts. They are very good at helping you with any requests you might have. If you are going to Big Bend stay here.

Big bend sunrise and sunset

This is our 3rd time staying at Lajitas House. We love the view, you can’t beat the early morning sunrise and beautiful sunset and it’s looking over the Rio Grande!
