「Bar well stocked room very basic and very tired room the room needs a good clean and updating although bed was very clean and comfortable extras required in bathroom such as a shelf and a floor mat 」

「It served it's purpose as a cheap place to stay - smelt of damp, looking tired but nevertheless was clean. Fine for a one night stay, but wouldn't want to use this place as a holiday base」

「Lovely warm welcome. Room warm and cosy (211) with a slightly challenging lock. Very tasty roast dinner and breakfast the next morning. The little town was quiet but lots of pubs and little shops, plus riverside walks too. Would recommend.」

「Different experience traveling from the US- shared bathroom, check-in at the bar in the adjacent restaurant, modestly lit path along the side of the building to the hallway door that led to the rooms.」

「The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was easy to access and peaceful in some lovely grounds. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were attending a funeral in the area. The breakfast was lovely ; there was a great select of juices, cereal, fresh croissants and a nice selection on the menu for a cooked breakfast as well. Would recommend and use again .」
