Lovely Cottage

This place was really cosy, comfy and super clean. It was the perfect break / get away, and the host left the place in perfect condition. It’s got a modern feel but hasn’t lost its cosy cottage feel. Defo recommend.

Beautiful retreat

A lovely, comfortable, well equipped cottage. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. A second television would have been welcome, we don’t always want to watch the same programs! Also non slip shower mats would be useful, the shower was very slippery and could be dangerous for anyone a little unsteady.

Amazing

Amazing cottage in a lovely little village with a great friendly pub…it was equipped with everything you needed and more with a very secure garden for our dog.We all slept really well on the comfy beds It is ideally situated for visiting all the Cotswold villages…we were only there three nights but managed to go to Broadway,Stow on the Wold,Bourton on the water,The Slaughters,Moreton on Marsh and even Jeremy Clarksons “Farmers dog “ pub We have stayed in many cottages around the Uk but Orchard Cottage is easily in our top two…we will definitely be looking to book again but hopefully for longer next time.

Excellent Cottage and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Orchard cottage. The cottage has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly want a true home from home the little village the cottage is situated in is really quaint and everybody was really friendly. I would recommend stopping by the pub for a drink or bite to eat. The location of the cottage was ideal for exploring the cowls and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay

Our first time in the Cotswolds and Orchard Cottage ticked all the boxes. Great location to explore the surrounding area, well equipped house and a 10 min walk to the pub which was lovely too. Idyllic, peaceful setting right beside the church - we loved hearing the bells chime daily and we're treated to bell ringing practice mid week from the garden.

A very comfortable stay

Lovely cottage. Comfortably sleeps 6 and has all the seating, dining space and garden furniture that you could possibly need for 6 adults. Well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils.

Wonderful Christmas Stay

We booked for Christmas week. A lovely cottage very clean and modern decent sized garden which the dogs loved. We had Christmas Dinner at the local pub The Gardeners which was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here and seeing some of the Cotswolds.

Short stay break

We have recently returned from a 4 night break at this cottage and cannot recommend highly enough. It is very quiet, immaculately looked after and very close to local walks and a short (safe!) walk to the local pub that is dog friendly and provides discount for guests. This really is first class accommodation.

Beautiful holiday cottage

We had a great week at Orchard Cottage. Lovely little village with a great pub and dog friendly too. Very pretty little church opposite. The cottage was beautifully presented, very clean, super comfy beds and had everything we needed. We hope to return for another stay. Recommend the Gardeners Arms in the village and the Royal Oak in Gretton.

Family winter weekend

We had a Lovely weekend stay at Orchard Cottage. The property was spotlessly clean and so well equipped. The layout was superb and the enclosed garden was great for our dog to roam in safety. The local pub (Gardeners Arms) was very welcoming with great food. I would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again.

Wonderful house, in a lovely location

Really wonderful house, with plenty of living space and 3 spacious bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need for a trip away. There was plenty of off road parking space and its located on a very quiet lane in a lovely little village. There's a good pub serving food within 5 minutes walk and a village shop too. Would highly recommend this property. We will definitely book again.

Lovely Cottage

A beautiful cottage in a really convenient location, we have loved our weekend away with family. The only thing I could find fault with is the pillows in the room next to the family bathroom are quite flat and lumpy but apart from that, pretty much faultless. Lovely and clean, cosy but spacious and really comfy beds. Perfect, we will 100% be back, thank you :)

Orchard cottage is a home from home. There are some lovely walks in and around Alderton. However for things to do other than walking, you need to travel a bit further afield. Throught our stay, the church opposite had bells ringing over night.

New years stay

Lovely clean cottage ,plenty of space for 5 adults and a small dog. Kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could need. Good quality bedding and towels , which we appreciated .Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very kind to us so didn’t get to explore the area as much as we would have liked but plenty of places to visit within a short drive .

Perfect stay

First impressions WOW, it’s beautiful. The whole cottage was spotless, literally home from home. The design colours in each room were lovely a real lot of thought has gone into each room. It turned into a nasty wet afternoon, evening and the log burner brightened it up. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend with family in such a wonderful cottage, we will be back.

Family weekend

We have recently stayed at Orchard cottage, a family of five adults and two dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone in this beautiful cottage. The cottage provided everything we needed, from comfortable beds, luxurious bedding and an extremely well fitted kitchen. We used the local pub for a Sunday roast takeaway, it was delicious. We would have no hesitation in returning to Orchard cottage if we were looking to stay in this area again.

A charming cottage in a peaceful attractive location.

Orchard Cottage ticks all the boxes! It had all that we needed and more. Spotlessly clean, excellently and thoughtfully equipped and with generous sized bath towels. The location is perfect with pretty outlook over the lovely church and churchyard. Good parking space and an easy walk to the village shop which had everything we required and a good local pub as well. Charming neighbours too! We shall be back.
