“This is a spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to town if you need to go there, but far enough away to make you feel like you’re in the country. Very nice patio and pool.”

“Property was nice and clean. Kitchen was fine. TV had a lot of channels to pick from. Location was good. Several stores just a few minutes away. My two critiques are the smell of cigarette smoke. It is not heavy, and you get used to it fairly quickly, but it is noticeable. The other is the electrical plugs in the bathrooms do not work.”

“A truly enjoyable experience! The house was immaculate, and very comfortable. Lots of living space inside, and the screened in porch was a delight. The setting was idyllic, reminiscent of Thoreau’s Walden Pond. The host had everything you would need for entertainment, from fishing poles to a grill and fire pit to lots of games for rainy days. Lots of room for kids to play and explore. Our host was very nice, and very helpful!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Lone Star cabin. It was tucked away in a quiet area between Maud and New Boston. Nights were filled with the sounds of nature... frogs, etc. Horses just behind the cabin. The owner was very responsive and the cabin was just the right size for my husband and me and our 13 year old Jack Russell. Great place to relax!”

“This tiny cabin was exactly as described, in a country setting with horses right behind the house. The pictures do it justice. It’s perfect for most people, but not for old fat folks like ourselves. We had trouble getting up from the low fluffy couch, barely fit in the shower, and could have easily won America’s Funniest Videos trying to get in and out of the queen bed that was pushed up against the wall! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the beautiful sunset. Our dog had a great……

“Maria has a very nice home. Her little dog Max is so sweet and well behaved. Her home is very clean and well maintained. Clean sheets and towels. The neighborhood is very safe feeling. I traveled alone for an appointment in Texarkana. I felt very safe staying here. I just needed a night. I got off work at 6 and drove my hour and 45 minutes. I arrived at 8pm. My appointment was at 830am so being less than 5 minutes away from that awesomeness. The cost of one night and not juggling my stuff and……

“The place was easy to find, well lighted. The staff was friendly and efficient. Their computer was running slow so check in too a little longer but no real problem. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. My room was clean and comfortable. There was not throw or bedspread, just the white sheet but I was still comfortable and able to adjust the temperature in the room. ”
