“The place was very nice and clean. Family stayed there for a weekend ski trip. The house had everything we needed and it was close enough to the resort and shopping.”

“We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!”

“The cabin was exactly as advertised, and perfect for our weekend getaway! Wraparound deck was perfect for morning coffee, the house was clean and organized while fully stocked for everything we needed. Fall foliage was beautiful in November! The best weekend spot no matter what time of year, and thanks to Craig for being so responsive and helpful.”

“Views of autumn colors were stunning in this golf course/pond view from condo living areas. Interior gas fireplace and outdoor porch swing were delightful. Communication with host was excellent. Unit is all first floor. You do have someone above you, as there is a separate condo unit above with exterior accessed stairs, but that was not a problem for us and seemed to be the standard for condo units in this beautiful golf course community. We bought the amenities pass for one day and paid to play……

“Cute little rental neighborhood with several modular home cottages. You can hear buck creek but you can't see it. Very quiet especially because we were the only people there. Close to downtown Highlands. Small but homey and clean. Hot tub was already on and waiting for us.”

“The house is cozy, warm and nice. Very comfortable for the two of us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom closest to the hot tub which made our weekend. Check-in couldn't be any easier. If I had to pick on something, it would be the tight parking for a full size truck. I would stay again the next time we visit Highlands.”

“Beautiful location in the Toxaway Community. The drive is beautiful and close to Cashiers and Highlands. The cabin was cozy and spacious, with a beautiful backyard featuring a running creek, spacious deck, pond and fire pit. Both double beds being king size was really a plus. We reserved dinner at the Greystone Inn Restaurant twice, and also at a couple nearby restaurants. There was plenty wood stacked outside for the fire place and fire pit. Couple suggestions to make the stay even better would……

“We enjoyed our short stay. It was very quiet and relaxing which is what we needed. Only issue was that we were hoping to do some fishing but my husband is mildly handicapped so no way he could get down to the river to fish. We enjoyed listening to the river from the porch though.”

“The phots and description does not do this place justice. It was well stocked and very clean. It is a simple cabin that has been created to allow for total relaxation. Has a lovely firepit with chairs to relax qnd enjoy the mountain view. Even if it rains the chairs on the porch make it perfect to curl up and listen. Our 1 year old pup absolutely loved being able to run and play and chase down her ball or Frisby.”
