“We had a bit of a rocky start with the hotel as the parking was incorrectly listed on the posting which was one of the driving factors for selecting the hotel. However the staff was attentive and provided as much information as they good and complimentary champagne. It was also an abnormally hot day and our room on the top floor was almost 30 degrees. The staff attempted to cool it down but since they were unable to they upgraded our room. The signature rooms are absolutely stunning and we ended……
“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Multiple historic canal homes which have been renovated into a stylish and spacious hotel. So charming! The service was top notch and the beds are absolutely luxurious. ”
“The breakfast was outstanding especially the omelette. The chef was very friendly and even put on a little performance. The room was very clean and the service was amazing. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

"Not a Hotel — More Like a Hostel Charging Hotel Prices
This place is marketed as a hotel, but in reality, it feels more like a hostel — just with hotel-level pricing. You're essentially paying for the location, as it's close to the museum quarter, which is admittedly convenient.
Here are the key issues:
No real reception – There's no front desk. Instead, a staff member at the café next door acts as "reception" from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Poor accessibility – There’s no proper entrance; you have to climb stairs, and taxis can’t stop right outside the property.
Extremely small rooms – The room is tiny, even by Japanese standards. You can't fully open a suitcase on the floor.
No real windows – The only windows face the staircase and a very slow elevator. You can hear everyone passing by clearly.
Inconvenient power setup – Turning off the room lights also cuts power to the outlets, so you can't charge your phone unless you leave the lights on (except in the bathroom).
Basic bedding – Standard hostel-quality linens and pillows (cushions actually).
On the plus side, the room was clean and odor-free — but that should be the bare minimum for any hotel.
Overall, if you’re expecting hotel quality, you’ll likely be disappointed. You're paying for the location, not the experience."

Perfect location for our visit, very convenient to transfer with bus, trains or subways."
"I emailed the hotel as my check in time 7am, that's why I booked extra day, the hotel confirmed by email. But when i checked in they cannot find my record, also i requested room close to elevator as i had many luggage, they put me at the last room at the end of corridor."
