"Pleasantly surprised considering what I paid for studio apartment. Well equipped, spotless, spacious had everyrhing we needed. Didn't use restaurant but was available, games room with pool, table tennis and other things to amuse kids plus small amusement arcade. Bar nice for quiet drink which closed at ten. Staff very friendly and helpful and surrounding beautiful with lake. Supermarkets 5 mins away by car, station museum worth a wee visit in carnforth. Will visit again"

"Very nice well equipped property. Unfortunately furniture was in need of a good dust. Would also be better if there was a way to turn off the motion sensor in the bedroom to stop it flashing with every little movement all night"

"Host and staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet, its a shame that it is only the bathroom that has view of the river. The old pub where you can get drinks, lovely food and a nice atmosphere is in need of some work, but Im guessing that is something they are looking at. Lots of free parking and a great location to experience what the area has on offer. "

"From the start of the booking the owner kept in touch which was brilliant.We highly recommend this little delight with it's gorgeous view.We especially loved the visitors in the field behind and the array of birds at the the bird table.Great value for money, definitely like to stay again."

"Nice, last minute stay, great location to local activities, and south lakes. Pretty scenery. Nice outdoor space. There is a old abandoned building that the given postcode takes you too, the actual building is next door! But that's fine once you figure it out. 10 mins drive to Aldi. "
