「Stayed for a wedding, rooms were clean, it is central to everything, management were absolutely delightful to deal with and nothing was a bother, we arrived after 9 pm and the key was in a locked box with easy access, the bowls club was fantastic great food and it is right next door to the motel」

「Camp kitchen available but didn't require it. Quiet despite being on main road. Close to most things. Decor was odd but all equipment worked despite age. Beds comfortable enough. Plenty of pillows and new towels daily. Rooms spacious enough. Would stay again if we were there.」

「Family trip. We wish we could stay there longer to enjoy the silent ambient and also the facilities. We have a big room and it is very convenience to parking our car directly at the front door of our "house". We encountered a snake at the pool and the staff there attended it and helped monitor it to ensure we feel safe. 」

「I booked a superior queen room that was far below its description. it was literally a triangle with the bed taking up three quarters of the room. it was supposed to have ocean views however they were only seen from the far corner of the veranda. It was however in a good location to the beach and restaurants.」

「Fantastic facilities. The pool area is excellent and caters for the whole family. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for either camping or hiring the cabins.」

「The view was spectacular and enjoyed time sitting on the balcony. Moby Dicks is well position for a walk into town or a walk along the river. I found the little notes about what you can’t do eg. Cook meat on the stove, leave dishes in the sink etc annoying with the constant threat of being fined - not relaxing or welcoming. Don’t provide ammenities if you don’t want people to use them! Have shampoo etc in refill containers that can’t be moved if you don’t want them taken. 」

「Liked that the cabins are next door to the bowling club and you could walk through a side entrance...very sensible planning. The cabins are starting to show their age but still comfortable. The chinese resturant in the club is excellent.」

「We loved the property so central to everything Had a great meal at the wobbly Chook as well & the beer was very tasty we purchased two of the beer glasses to remember our stay. Would recommend this hostel to everyone who wants a clean, quiet & lovely place to stay. The staff were all friendly & very helpful as well. Nora Morrissey」
