「Wonderful place to stay in the Adirondacks for a couple nights. Our room had been fully renovated recently and was great. They are in the process of renovating another section of the lodge currently but this had no impact on our stay. Nice, quiet community close to many of the sights we wanted to see in the Lake Placid area. 」

「Room was very comfortable but paint was peeling and was a bit worn. Walls very thin so could hear talking from other rooms.Unfortunately we tried to go to restaurant but it was very crowded at 530pm so we went somewhere else, it looks nice! Check in was easy and everyone so nice .I would stay again but probably try for the lodge or end room , it would help to have a Keurig or coffee maker in room.PERFECT location for high peaks hiking !!! Cute fireplace outside and swing !!! People so NICE !!!」

「The property was very nice but there were no breakfast or lunch options for guests who stayed there during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. 」

「The hotel was a unique combination of houses and cabins. We stayed here over Labor Day weekend in one of the houses with our dog and enjoyed the hotel’s firepit and live music. I wish we had more time here to have enjoyed the pool and sauna. The walk to the river behind the hotel is through a beautiful park and a nice easy stroll. Our room had a fireplace but it was not currently in service, a beautiful bathtub (no shower), and a comfortable king sized bed. I would recommend this place for...
