「Excellent and great breakfast」

「We stayed at Hampden Apartments as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The only positive aspect of our stay was the location, which was excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations. Communication from the host was virtually non-existent. Despite the listing stating that check-in instructions would be sent by email, I received nothing after booking and none of my messages through Expedia or calls to the provided mobile number were answered....

「這間酒店位置不錯，距離溫莎城堡不算很遠 酒店乾淨整潔，有空調，有停車場，不過有點狹窄。早餐很好吃。 酒店是舊式的建築，沒有電梯／升降機，我的房間在三樓，要搬行李上落樓梯確實有點不方便。 我入住了一晚，有一個不愉快的經歷，就是酒店內有小偷，而且是酒吧的員工！我當晚拿了酒店送的welcome drink, 本來打算在酒吧享受一下，後來還是決定拿上房喝。當我打開房門時，發現剛才在酒吧給我飲品的bartender竟然走進了我們的房間，而且把我的行李打開，還放在床上搜我的東西。我當時十分驚嚇，那bartender說我忘了拿回外套，幫我拿上房間，然後匆匆忙忙地走了。但我的外套一直都在房間，從來沒有拿出去。所以我很肯定他是想偷竊。於是我嘗試反鎖大門，但是沒用的，因為從外面用匙卡還是能輕易進入。我唯有用椅子擋住大門，顫顫驚驚的度過了一個晚上。第二天我才跟接待處說了這件事，她告訴我發電郵給酒店的經理。最後經理迅速跟進事件，並給我退回全部住宿費用。事件中我沒有任何損失，不過酒店的保安真的有待改善。」

「Not walkable to the castle- unless you fast walk for 40mins! Not a short stroll as advertised - it’s in the middle of an estate (not so nice ) Make you pay £££ deposit or no check in details Make you sign this ridiculous document also to say if they had to take deposit off you because of damage- you can’t leave them a negative review! Got signs everywhere to remind you not to make noise/ switch off lights etc - doesn’t make us feel relaxed Strange smell in games room and first floor...

「Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.」

「Best aquatic facilities I have experienced at a Fairmont property. Reception was very helpful in a walkabout of the onsite restaurant options. Enjoyed walking the grounds.」
