"Our host was very responsive when we needed to connect and the home was larger than I envisioned from the photos. We were not there often but the location was ideal. We could walk a short distance for donuts or pizza and subs at one end of the road and to the pier on the other end for amazing sunsets without a crowd. We spent most of our time exploring other islands accessible by boat so we did not visit the main beach as much as I had expected but the gated parking was a dream. So convenient and hassle free. It was a beautiful home that was very comfortable -- and very well equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen and more. And the location was only about 30 minutes from the ferries and charters serving the more remote areas. We found sand dollars and shells, saw the banker horses, soaked up plenty of sun and hiked miles of sandy beaches. Great memories were made."

"My wife and I have stayed in the Emerald Isle area more than 10 times, always a house on the beach. This was the best place we have stayed so far. Great location, great view of the beach and great furnishings. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would stay here again and highly recommend it."
